Digital Knitting Pattern for Katie the Doughnut Cat

• Knit your Doughnut Cat using your stash yarn
• Whip up a whole batch of doughnut kitties

• This project is knitted using straight needles, there’s no working in the round
• The digital pattern is written English, with a photo tutorial for sewing up

MATERIALS NEEDED:
You can use any DK yarn for this project, but I recommend using:
Stylecraft Special DK, 100% acrylic, 295m per 100g

M - Main doughnut colour - Camel x 40g
C - Contrast glaze colour - Fondant x 20g
B - Black - a small amount for
embroidering the face

You’ll also need some white chunky yarn for embroidering the sprinkles. I used Rico Fashion Jersey as it has a smooth texture. You can use any chunky yarn such as Stylecraft Special Chunky.

4mm (US 6) knitting needles
20g toy stuffing
Darning needle

SKILL LEVEL: Easy - Intermediate. This pattern is aimed at knitters who know how to knit, purl, increase and decrease. A photo tutorial has been included for sewing up.

STITCHES USED: Knit, purl, increasing, decreasing and mattress stitch for sewing up.
