Karusell Beanie
The Karusell beanie was originally released
as an exclusive pattern for the Finnish
subscribers in the autumn 2023 issue of
Novita magazine
The beanie is double layered and reversible.
One side has multicoloured cables and the
other side has stripes.
The beanie is knitted in the round in one
piece, from the cabled top to the striped top.
The piece is then folded into itself to create
the beanie and the bottom edge is folded up
to reveal the ”inside”.
This pattern is only made in one size,
however it is easy to adjust the size by
adding or taking away the number of repeats
of the charts. (Just remember to also
change the number of stitches you CO and
BO. The number of sts should correspond to
the number of pattern repeats.)

Size: 56 cm circumference

Yarn: Novita, 7 Veljestä; 75% wool, 25%
polyamid, 100 g= 200 m.
Colour A: Blue (136), 1 ball (approx. 95 g)
Colour B: Pink (500), 1 ball (approx. 100 g)

Needles:
Double pointed needles: 4 mm & 5 mm
and
Circular needles: 4 mm x 40 cm & 5 mm x 40 cm

Other materials:
Cable needle, tapestry needle

Karusell Beanie
Karusellmössan släpptes först som
ett exklusivt mönster för de finska
prenumeranterna till höstnumret 2023 av
Novita magazine.
Mössan är dubbelsidig och vändbar. Ena
sidan har flerfärgade flätor och andra sidan
har ränder. Mössan stickas runt i 1 stycke
från toppen på flätsidan till toppen på den
randiga sidan. Mössan viks sedan in i sig
själv, antingen med den randiga eller den
flätade sidan utåt. Nederkanten viks upp
för att visa den andra sidan av mössan.
Beskrivningen är bara gjort i en storlek men
det är lätt att ändra storleken genom att öka/
minska antalet upprepningar av mönstret.
Se bara till att även ändra antalet maskor du
lägger upp och maskar av. Antalet maskor
ska vara samma som antalet upprepningar
av mönstret.
