Kanikula - worsted
Now in worsted weight! Kanikula - worsted is only available as a bonus pattern in the Denali ebook.
Named for one of the many glaciers in scenic Denali National Park, Kanikula hearkens the breathtaking simplicity of the expansive mountainous region.
Kanikula (fingering weight), Kahiltna and Tokositna beanies celebrate the varied colors of autumn in Alaska.
Knit in the round, Kanikula begins with a corrugated rib brim then transitions to a charted stranded knitting stockinette body. This hat fits snug with a slightly roomy crown.

• Corrugated rib is not stretchy. For a stretchy brim, substitute a standard rib worked in just one color. Also, if you are having trouble working the corrugated rib, try two-handed knitting and experiment to find which hand should hold the purl color.
