Kanikula
Named for one of the many glaciers in scenic Denali National Park, Kanikula hearkens the breathtaking simplicity of the expansive mountainous region. Kanikula, Kahiltna and Tokositna beanies celebrate the varied colors of autumn in Alaska.
Knit in the round, Kanikula begins with a corrugated rib brim then transitions to a charted stranded knitting stockinette body. This hat fits snug with a slightly roomy crown.

Notes:
• Choosing color palette - To achieve a similar result as the sample, choose shades of the same color for C1, C2 and C3 i.e. three shades of green arranged dark to light.
• Corrugated rib is not stretchy. For a stretchy brim, substitute a standard rib worked in just one color. Also, if you are having trouble working the corrugated rib, try two-handed knitting and experiment to find which hand should hold the purl color.
