Tired of your beautiful knit shawls refusing to stay on your shoulders? Me, too. The Kanab bandana cowl solves that problem with a cowl top that flows into a shawl bottom. Like a mullet, but for shawls. And cuter.

Kanab begins with a garter tab cast-on and is worked flat until the desired circumference is achieved. The cowl is then worked in the round until the desired depth is achieved.

Kanab is the perfect single-skein project for that special lone skein of yarn you’ve been saving for ‘someday’.

Looking for the pictured cardigan? It’s Jeffrey Pine; see it here.
