This self-patterning yarn blends one colour into the next producing a radiating colour effect, and in the case of this blanket pattern the diamond effects too. Simple garter stitch squares are knit with increases and decreases which create the dynamic diagonals. Squares are seamed together to make a baby blanket or afghan-sized blanket.
