I challenged myself to make a crochet kaleidoscope and this is the result.

The Kaleidoscope Crochet Blanket was designed especially for a Blanket Club in 2014.

Yarn
The Kaleidoscope is a scrap blanket
You will need 1750 gms of 4 ply/Sock Yarn measuring 360 metres/393yards per 100g skein

The colours are more important than the yarn type, so as long as you use similar yarn you can use several different yarn types together if you wish. You can even use colours from different dye lots, which may help you spread the cost; the original club members received their colours from several different dye lots, which meant each member’s blanket was unique to them.
