Many of the stitch patterns used in this throw may have a slightly different tension (particularly row count) from the tension given for stocking stitch. However, there is no need to complete a separate tension square for each stitch pattern; as long as the tension for stocking stitch is correct, the overall sizing will be as given.

While you can use any method to cast on or off, we recommend the crochet cast on and cable cast off, because when used together they create a completely matching cast-on and cast-off edges.
