When I held the first skein of hand dyed yarn in my hands, I wanted to work up a really simple and soothing design. Simple double crochet stitches with increases at regular intervals turned out much more beautiful than I expected. It was then that I realized the true meaning of Kaizen- how small continuous changes can make tremendous difference. It’s not about being invincible, but unstoppable. Hence the name.
Notes:
Pattern is written as follows, 1(2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10). All stitch counts, rounds and rows will be in the corresponding color.
Top is designed to be worn with 2-4 inches of positive ease. Suggested to use yarn with a beautiful drape.
This top is constructed top down in turned rounds. There is no right or wrong side to the body. Use a stitch marker to mark the first st of each round/row.
Chainless double crochet is used at the beginning of each round for a seamless design and counts as a double crochet stitch.
Pattern is written in standard US terms. Pattern measures in inches.
