This top is named Kai, which means “sea” in Hawaiian. It is worked in the round from the bottom up, then divided at the armholes to work the front and back separately. It features a decorative dropped stitch edging and yet is a simple pattern, great for knitters of any experience level.

Materials:

  • 385 (423, 462, 500, 539, 577) yards - worsted weight yarn
  • 32” circular needles, US #9
  • stitch marker
  • tapestry needle

Gauge: 16 sts & 20 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch

Finished Measurements: Sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6)

Bust circumference: 34 (38, 42, 46, 50, 54)”, to be worn with 0 - 2” positive ease.
