Kaarre Socks
These easygoing Kaarre Socks are very simple to knit with diagonal float stitch pattern. Socks are knitted from cuff down and the pattern is written for the Magic Loop technique, but it is also suitable for knitting with double pointed needles. The heel is worked with a reinforced heel flap and a gusset.

Yarn: nurja - merino sock (75% superwash merino wool, 25 % polyamide; 420m 459 yd per 100g)
or Regia Tweed 4-ply (70% wool, 25% polyamide, 5% viscose; 400m 437 yd per 100 g)
approx. 80 g
or approx. 320m 350 yd of other fingering weight sock yarn
Needles: 2,5 mm (US 0), 80 cm (30”) circular needles (or suitable needles to obtain gauge)
Other: one stitch marker, measuring tape, a tapestry needle and sock blockers

30 stitches and 46 rows = 10 cm in stockinette stitch in the round
