Jutta is a doll, a sort of rag doll, but knitted. The most striking thing about Jutta is her Rasta hair. These hairs look like spool knitted cords, but are needle knitted as i-cords. You will find out how to do that in this pattern.
If you don’t feel like knitting all those hairs, you can use some or other thick yarn or ribbon instead, I also describe how to use this in the pattern.
Jutta has all kinds of fun details, elbows, knees, a belly button and … real buttocks, but those are hidden under her overalls.
In this pattern you will find the instructions for Jutta and her overalls. The doll and the overalls are both knitted seamlessly in the round. When you have finished knitting you will be able to stuff the doll and dress her immediately, you won’t need to sew up anything.
The overalls need a lighter yarn then the doll. Any yarn can be used.

For a 16” /40 cm doll you will need the following amounts of yarn:
• about 80-100 grams of worsted weight yarn (100 m to 50 grams) for the doll
• about 100 grams of sport weight/double knitting yarn (130 m to 50 grams) for the doll’s hair
• about 75 grams of sport weight/double knitting yarn (130 m to 50 grams) for the overalls.

Jutta est une sorte de poupée chiffon, mais tricotée. La chose la plus frappante à propos de Jutta est sa chevelure rasta. Ces cheveux sont tricotés comme des cordons i-cord. Si vous ne souhaitez pas tricoter tous ces cheveux, vous pouvez utiliser un fil épais ou un ruban à la place. Dans ce patron, vous trouverez les instructions pour Jutta et sa salopette. Les deux sont tricotés sans couture, en rond. Quand vous aurez fini de tricoter, vous pourrez bourrer la poupée et la vêtir immédiatement, sans avoir besoin de coudre. Tricotée en worsted (100 g environ), la poupée aura 40 cm de hauteur. La salopette et les cheveux sont en Sport/DK (175 g environ)
