2014-12-31 Petite Purls will be closing its web doors today. For now, I have posted a PDF of the pattern on Ravelry as it appeared on the Petite Purls website. This version of the pattern is free. Sometime soon I hope to post a nicely formatted, print-quality PDF. At that point, I will start charging a nominal fee for the pattern. I’ll give some advance warning before that happens.

I designed these socks in response to “in Just-” -- e.e. cummings’ classic evocation of spring. The parasols cascade beads of water that undulate against a lush green background. The instep is dotted with flowers. A frilly cuff adds a thoroughly frivolous finishing touch. While these toe-up socks are designed for little girls, the youth size can be lengthened to fit teens or adult women.
