A fresh clean look knitted in a doubled up bulky yarn makes for a bold look with an accent of simplicity. This hat is super quick to knit and the hottest style for those colder days. The stitch detail is just a bit out of the ordinary, but easy and adds a bit of a twist. Roll the edges up or leave them down…

For sizes/head circumferences of: 20” (22/24/26”)

Yarn:
Bulky Cotton (No 5) 2 (3/3/3 skeins (70 yards each) (m/g) Knit kits are available at www.yarnz2GO.com
Yardage used 134 (160/176/192).
Work with 2 strands of the bulky weight held together throughout the project by pulling from the middle and the outer side of the 3rd skein.

Alternatively you can hold several strands together like 4/5 even 6 to get to the yarn weight and proper gauge. Mix up the colors and textures even. Have fun with it!

US size 17 (12 mm) needles
Crochet hook size M 9 mm) for finishing
Stitch marker

Gauge:
8 sts and rows in 12” knitted in Stockinette stitch, unblocked.
