June 2013 Crochet-A-Long Square

Waco Knitter’s 2013 Knit-and-Crochet-a-Long is a seven-month long project that will challenge you to try new stitches and patterns. Each month we will provide a knitted and a crochet pattern and turn it into a 12″x12″ square. At the end of the year you will have 6 (or more) unique squares you can use to make a beautiful blanket.

This Crochet-A-Long afghan block is a modified version of the Lilyan’s Lace Square, which uses crocheting in the round to create a simple square motif. Single, double and treble crochets are used on the inside circle with a granny square outside.
