Jun is a fun and easily knitted poncho, you can also leave it at the rectangle, to wear as a shawl.
Either way, first you knit a rectangle with a small lace border, finish it with an I-cord bind off edge. Then extend the length a bit with another lace section and if you choose so, connect the edges to create a casual poncho.
Lastly, a cool squared has been added to the sample shown here.
The pattern is fully written, with a lace chart and a schematic for you to do the finishing touches.
Yarn
Organic cotton in a DK weight. 125 yards a skein with 2 skeins needed.

US size 15 (10 mm) circular needle 36”
(91 cm) in length.
Lockable stitch markers for finishing.
Tapestry needle for finishing.
Decorative bead, half an inch square.
Gauge
9 sts and 14 rows in 4” of garter stitch, counting 7 ridges.
Techniques
Knitting, purling, lace knitting, I-cord bind off, picking up and knitting stitches, weaving in ends, blocking, seaming and attaching a bead.
