Jumpy Jerboa Amigurumi Rodent
by cheezombie
Jerboa is jumpy. Maybe the combination of excessive predator paranoia and ridiculously huge ears is not such a good thing. Especially when he’s been chugging Red Bull.
Jumpy Jerboa’s body & eyes are knit in the round. The ears & paws are knit flat, & the I-cord legs have pipe cleaners in them for extra spring. The example is knit with various worsted weight (8 or 10 ply) wool yarns on US size 3 (3.25 mm) needles, but almost any yarn could be used. Jerboa is approximately 4 inches to the top of the ears, but the finished measurements will be affected by choice of yarn and needle size. This is an intermediate/advanced pattern with plenty of instructional photos & helpful links, & cheezombie is available for help via email as always.
