This colorful scarf is crocheted with Scheepjes Whirl. For a scarf of 180 x 37 centimeters you need 1 ball of Whirl (color Jumping Jelly) and 2 balls of Whirlette (color Liquorice)

The technique used is tapestry crochet combined with illusion/shadow crochet.
What may take some getting used to for beginners, but actually it is just single crochet where you always change color.
