The Christmas ornament for 2025 is a joy to knit. There are infinite possibilities for knitting beautiful patters with bobbles, nupps and beads, so the ‘Julefryd’ (Danish for ‘Christmas joy’) ornaments can decorate the tree or window or any other place you wish.

The pattern contains instructions for ornaments in 3 sizes as well as guides for knitting bobbles and nupps in contrasting colors. The pattern also includes a series of charts with suggestions for patterns as well as plain charts where you can draw your own patterns.

Pernilla from Filcolana (100 pure new wool, 175 m pr 50 g) – approx. 4 (6) 8 g of yarn for the different sizes of the main color (MC) and 1-3 g of the contrasting color (CC)

• sewing thread for hanging thread
• Styrofoam spheres, Ø 4, 6 and 8 cm

Needle:

• Long (80-100 cm) circular needle size 3 mm, as Magic Loop is your friend here
• 0.75 mm crochet hook to place beads in your knitting
