The Jul socks are a simple but interesting sock pattern. It includes both some low key cable knitting on the cuff and heel and easy color work on the leg, which makes them also beginner friendly.

I knitted the socks in rauma finull and a non super-wash sock yarn from woolentwine fiberstudio. Unfortunately this yarn is not available right now, but will hopefully be back in her shop soon.
At the meanwhile you can use any slightly heavier sock yarn you have available. The sock yarn I used has 350 m / 100 g instead of the normal 400 m/ 100 g.

If you want to knit a bigger size, I recommend you to go up a needle size to 2,27 mm or 3 mm needles.
