Juicy Gloss is a flattering openfront cardigan, perfect for summer. It is knit seamlessly top – down, with elongated back, short lacy fronts and 3/4 sleeves. Front and sleeves are neatly finished with I-cord edgings. A simple cardigan with details, that make your knitting an extraordinary and exciting journey.

Once the lace neckband is done, raglan yoke and an elongated back are being shaped. Then stitches are picked up across the raglan edges, the work is joined with both neckbands and knit flat until cardigan reaches the desired length. Finally sleeves are knitted in the round.

Juicy Gloss emerged when I had to deal with some obstacles in my personal life and really needed a distraction from reality. I was longing to feel sand under my feet during long walks along the beach on hot and sunny days, the warmth of the sun on my face, a taste of salt in my mouth or sweetness of ripe cherries. I was dreaming of summer and pure joy of vacation. When you long for life to be simple and you long for that uncomplicated feeling of natural beauty, just wear your favorite lip gloss and take your Juicy Gloss with you and feel special, cherished and pretty, just like you are!

Cardigan is designed to be worn with no or small amount of positive ease in the back. To make sure you have chosen the perfectly fitted size, measure the width of your back (from middle of the left armpit to middle of the right armpit) and use this dimension as a determining factor.

GAUGE
24 sts x 30 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm / 4” x 4” with needles in size 3.5 mm / US 4 in stockinette stitch after blocking, and in lace pattern after blocking.

YARN
kolorLOVE from Magic Loop, in colorway: Czeresniowy Sad, 1 skein: 50g / 210 m (230 yards), Merino Wool (80%), Nylon (20%).

Or any other fingering weight yarn of your choice which knits up to the given gauge.
