Stripes and slipped stitches form a striking plaid pattern on this cozy shawl. Wrap yourself in it for a long trek, or snuggle up in front of the fire once you return home. The green and beige yarns echo colors from Girl Scout uniforms.

YARN HiKoo Kenzie (50% New Zealand Merino, 25% nylon, 10% angora, 10% alpaca, 5% silk noils; 160 yd / 1.75 oz): #1000 pavlova (cream; A), 4 skeins and #1016 Tasman (green; B), 3 skeins. Yarn distributed by Skacel.
NEEDLES Size 8 (5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
NOTIONS Markers; crochet hook; tapestry needle.
GAUGE 20 sts and 30 rows = 4″ in patt.
NOTES This wrap is worked back and forth in rows.
