Joris
Joris is a weird creature. He’s got 6 points or may be horns on his head. So, he looks like a dragon, but he does not dare to say so, he’s afraid people may get scared.
Joris is knitted circular in one piece without any seams on a circular needle or using 4 double pointed needles. When you are finished knitting, you can stuff Joris, without having to seam the parts together first.
The pattern is very extensive, featuring about 40 pictures of the various stages in knitting and row by row instructions.
The pattern is available both in English and in Dutch, when you buy the pattern you have access to both the file in Dutch and in English. It is available in German from WollZauber Nr. 5, Wolljagd!.
You can knit Joris in whatever yarn you want. Using DK weight yarn, Joris will be about 16 inches tall. Lighter yarn yields a smaller Joris, heavier yarn makes him bigger.
