Jonah is a round yoked sweater worked seamlessly from the top down, with easy 2 Color-Slip-Stitch pattern bands on the yoke. Inspired by its ‘brother’ Indigo Frost the body features the same cute eyelet pattern that makes it special.
Yarn
Cascade 220 Heathers, 100% wool, (100g, 220 yds/ 200 m):
4 (4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6) skeins in MC; shown in Straw Heather (4010).
1 skein in color C1; shown in Indigo Frost (9559).
1 skein in color C2; shown in Antiqued Heather (9600).
Note: You will need approx. 65 (70, 76, 82, 93, 98, 109) yds 60 (65, 70, 75, 85, 90, 100) m of each contrast color.
Needles
US 6 (4 mm) 24” (60 cm) and 32” (80 cm) circular needle for ribbings and neck.
US 7 (4.5 mm) 24” (60 cm) and 32” (80 cm) circular needle for body.
Gauge
18 sts x 25 rounds = 4 x 4 in (10 x 10 cm) in Stockinette stitch on larger needle.
17.5 sts x 26 rounds = 4 x 4 in (10 x 10 cm) in Eyelet pattern on larger needle.
18 sts x 32 rounds = 4 x 4 in (10 x 10 cm) in 2 Color-Slip-Stitch pattern No. 1 on larger needle.
Note: It is recommended that you swatch the 2 Color-Slip-Stitch Pattern to determine if you need to change needle size to keep the gauge consistent.
