Please welcome Jolie, my toe-up sock design, which is a sister design to the cuff-down Gerda Socks. Both socks are worked in the delicate Rowan Leaves stitch pattern but from different directions.

Suggested yarn
2 skeins of Gründl Hot Socks Uni 50 yarn, in chocolate brown (10) colourway, 75% superwash merino wool, 25% polyamide, approx. 50 g / 210 m / 229 yds per skein;
or approx. 282 (296, 314, 329, 338, 353) m / 308 (323, 343, 359, 369, 386) yds of fingering or sock weight yarn that gives you gauge. (Yardage includes 15% of extra yarn).

Needles
2.25 mm / US 1
Sample made using 80 cm / 32” long circular needles, however choose the length according to your preference.
Please note that you will need another circular in the same size to separate the cuff stitches for the Tubular Bind-off.

Gauge
32 stitches and 44 rounds = 10 cm / 4” over Stocking stitch. Gauge swatch worked on size 2.25 mm / US 1 needles, in the round. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge. Measurements taken from flattened but unstretched fabric, after blocking.
