Jolene is worked sideways in a gentle crescent shaped rectangle. Panels of lace are separated by rows of garter stitch where the crescent shape is achieved by working short rows.
The sample is shown in YarnAddict Silky Merino Lacey Sock.
Materials:
YarnAddict Silky Merino Lacey Sock, 80% Merino/20% Silk, 600m/100gr
3.75mm/US5 straight needles
Tension:
20.5 sts and 28 rows over 10cm/4in in lace pattern after blocking.
Exact tension is not essential but a difference in tension may affect the amount of yarn used
Size:
Width: 47cm/18½ in
Inner Crescent: 153cm/60in
Outer Crescent: 257cm/101in
Difficulty level:
Intermediate
