Inspired by a truer Mainer, one who once hauled lobsters from the cold Atlantic and now wears the textured beard of a lifelong fisherman, the Johnny pullover is a tribute to the coastal working spirit. Designed by Sandi Rosner, this classic fisherman’s sweater is rich with traditional texture: moss stitch, honeycomb, horseshoe, and ladder cables intertwine like ropes on a well-used dock.

Knit in Hawk, our alpaca–merino tweed, the pullover body is worked in the round to the armholes, then divided for front and back and seamed at the shoulders. Sleeves are knit separately in the round and sewn into place, creating a sturdy piece that feels as timeless as the coast itself.
