Jockey Stripes Lead the Field
An irresistibly gay affair is this little jumper. It is knitted in tomato and white, in a wool which has silk in its weave. It isn’t actually one of the STITCHCRAFT special designs for beginners, but it is simple enough for anyone to tackle.
Materials:
- 11 ozs. “Cyntilla” Lustre Wool, 3-ply (original uses 8 ozs. tomato, shade 7093, and 3 ozs. white)
- 1 pair No. 11, 1 pair No. 9 “Inox” knitting needles
Measurements:
Bust 34 inches;
Length 17 inches;
Sleeve seam 20 inches.
These measurements can be altered two inches either way by using needles one size smaller or larger than recommended above.
Tension not given in the pattern. Gauge calculated dividing the number of stitches around the bust by the bust size.
