Joan's Twisted Cable Cardigan
Using Prism Madison or Madison Layers. A blend of merino, silk and cashmere that works of beautifully on US #9 needle for this all year round jacket. Finishing Chest 36 (40, 46)” Length 21 (23, 26)” Sleeves 16 ½ (17, 17)” Shoulders 13 ½ (14, 15 ½)” across (this has side shaping to make it fitted, for a boxier straight shape, just omit shaping that is underlined in pattern J) Gauge is 18 stitches/24 rows in stockinet stitch to 4” on #9 needle or needle to obtain gauge. Ribbing is done on one size smaller than the gauge. We used 1000 (1300, 1650) yards. Equal to 6 (8, 9) skeins of Prism Madison Layer each with 170 yards.
