Jetlag
Jetlag is a cuddly asymmetric triangle featuring a graphic mosaic pattern within a classic border. It is designed to be much simpler to knit than it looks, and easily memorised so it can be knit on autopilot during those fuzzy jetlagged hours of fill in time.
The design was worked in collaboration with Madlaine, who have also created a French translation of the pattern, and yarn kits, available here.
The shawl is worked in garter stripes, and the stitch pattern is created simply by slipping stitches - no fancy colourwork or trapping floats required.
It is ideal for showing off two contrasting or complementary skeins, or try a solid paired with a gradient for dynamic results.
The size of the shawl is adaptable, as the body pattern can be worked to any size. It suits heavy fingering to worsted weight yarn in any yardage between approx 400m and 900m.
The design can be worked entirely from the written pattern, or from charts with some notes.
