“THhis colourful beanie is knitted using 100% Shetland wool; after the rib, the body of the beanie is worked with five colours, while in the crown just two colours are used,” explains designer Outi Kater. “The length of the beanie can be adjusted by turning the ribbed rim up more.” Her design for children is knitted in Jamieson & Smith’s 2ply Jumper Weight wool, and would make an ideal stashbuster project as only small amounts of each shade are needed.
