Jemima
by Sarah Hatton
This top has an unusual construction in that it starts with two textured bands worked on smaller needles that form the upper part of the body. Stitches are picked up along the edges of these strips, and short rows are worked to create a shoulder slope before the body is worked down to the hem. The side seams are then joined before the armhole and neck trims are picked up and knitted.
