• (Vi)laines Chaussettes (75% Superwash Wool/25% Nylon; 437 yd/400 m per 100 g skein) or similar fingering yarn; MC: Jeter des perles aux cochons (Casting pearls before swine); 1 (1, 1) skein; CC: Sauter dans les fougères (Jumping in the ferns); 1 (1, 1) skein
• US1.5/2.5 mm circular needle, 32-inch/80 cm (or size needed to achieve gauge)
• Tapestry needle

GAUGE
32 sts x 44 rnds = 4 inches/10 cm in Stockinette stitch worked in the round, after blocking
36 sts x 43 rnds = 4 inches/10 cm in stranded colorwork pattern stitch worked in the round, after blocking.
