Japanese Lace Scarf
This design features a central lace pattern that is Japanese in origin, surrounded by openwork lace borders and edging. It is knit with a soft blend of Shetland wool and lambswool in a cobweb lace weight yarn.
If you like you can extend the length: each 16-row repeat yields two inches in length and uses five grams of yarn. With the number of repeats called for in the pattern I used 19 grams, meaning there would have been enough for one additional repeat/two additional inches. Of course you can always buy two balls of the yarn to ensure you have a sufficient amount for the length you desire.
