DESCRIPTION
January is a small shawl/ kerchief knit designed in worsted or aran yarn perfect for some extra warmth around your neck during the cooler months. Or it can be knit in a lighter weight for warmer months. A perfect beginner pattern it features simple stitches repeated in a stripe pattern.

FINISHED MEASUREMENT
44” across and 14.5” from top to point

MATERIALS
1 US 9 - 5.5 mm circular needle
230 yards of worsted or aran weight yarn for pictured shawl or any weight for lighter version
2 stitch markers
Tapestry needle
* or size required to get gauge

GAUGE
16 stitches and 20 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette Stitch
