Jameson
Named for the most popular Irish whiskey in the world as a nod to Kate and Courtney’s travels to create this gorgeous yarn, Jameson is a cabled pullover with a feminine air about it.
Arranmore, spun in a historic mill in Donegal, Ireland, is a blend of merino, cashmere and silk - and it’s that perfect light, lofty sweater yarn that makes me yearn for just a taste of Fall. It balances a tweedy, rustic look with a luxurious feel and has a lovely, feminine air that begged for some undulating cables and a vintage vibe.
Jameson is written with 3/4 sleeves and a deep scoop/cowl collar. The cables are addicting (and easier than you think). Placing them on panels on front and back creates flattering vertical lines on the body and also makes any modifications for fit and shaping simple to add. Instructions are also included in the pattern for working alternate neckline treatments and sleeve lengths.
The sample is shown in River Esque and worn with 4” of ease.
