This pattern was originally designed exclusively for the TFA Year In Colour Club, May 2015, featuring the custom colour ‘Willow’ in Tanis Fiber Arts 8-ply Fingering Weight yarn.

This sock pattern started out as an experiment in traveling cables. I love the fit and comfort of a plain ribbed sock and wanted to explore what could happen if the ribbing flowed left and right forming diamonds and cables. The left and right socks are mirror images of each other, so put your feet together and a secret diamond is created out of two triangles. Socks really are the perfect blank canvas for design experimentation. Don’t you just love that?
