Now you can have the homespun look — without spinning your own wool. A new mill in Victoria, inspired by a family’s pet lamb, now produces a pure greasy wool. Here are two designs to keep you snug in the great outdoors.

Materials: Approx 1200 grams of Jumbuk Wool, Blue Label, pair each No 4 and No 2 needles, 6 buttons.

Note: Jumbuk Wool is used double for entire garment and is the only yarn that should be used.

Measurements: To fit medium chest size. This jacket is a loose fitting garment, and could be adjusted for a larger size by knitting a longer hip band and length of sleeve as required. Length from back of neck 65cm (25½ in), including hip band, sleeve seam 33cm (13 in) plus cuff band.

Tension: 13 sts to 10cm, (4in), using No 2 needles and two strands of yarn.
