The Ivy Hedge Scarf is worked lengthwise to make use of the feature of the half double crochet that presents a chain structure when worked in the third horizontal loop of the stitch.

By combining with treble crochet, it provides a beautiful visual , resembling the perfectly manicured hedges.

Although the pattern says one size, the scarf is easily customisable
a) you can increase the length by starting with more chains
b) you can increase the width by working more pattern repeats.

Each pattern repeat consists of 4 rows and your hooks will fly as soon as you settle into a rhythm.

There are couple of short videos , linked in the document to help understand the Linked Half double and the placement of the stitches.

The sample is made with Mohana ,a merino and spunsilk blend yarn by Sunrays
