Who doesn’t love watching It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown? I remember waiting eagerly every year to watch it and now I look forward to watching it with my own kids every year. I’ve always had a special place in my heart for Linus (I feel like we are Kindred Spirits, him with his blanket and me with my knitting) and his dedication to the Great Pumpkin is to be admired, don’t you agree? When I wound up this Tippy Tree Yarn, I knew that it was destined to be a shawl, it was simply scrumptious and luxurious! This particular leaf lace stitch will just not leave me alone, and all of a sudden I knew that I had the perfect nod to The Great Pumpkin himself (because with a colorway called Midnight at the Patch, how could I not?) Gauge: 16 sts and 24 rows = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch after washing and blocking.
