This fun vest is constructed in 3 pieces which are then seamed with a contrasting yarn in a visible stitch, creating a deconstructed look. Collar or optional hood is added after construction. MATERIALS
Approximately 250 (300, 350, 400, 450, 500) yds of worsted weight yarn in colors of your choice
Crochet hook size J-10 (6.0 mm) or size to obtain correct gauge
Removable stitch markers
Darning needle

SPECIAL STITCHES
Fhdc- foundation half double crochet
Chain 3 (usually counts as your first hdc, but for this particular pattern this does not count as your first hdc). Yarn over and insert hook in 3rd chain from hook. Yarn over and pull up loop (3 loops on hook), yarn over and pull through 1 loop creating a chain, (this is an important step but easy to forget). Yarn over again and pull through all three loops on hook. To stitch the next fhdc, yarn over and insert the hook into the chain made in the 2nd fhdc and repeat from
