A supremely simple design inspired by the drafting of sewing patterns for harem pants and kimono sleeves. This could be made by an almost beginner knitter.

Required skills:_

Casting on
Binding off
Garter Stitch
Picking up stitches
Optionally - 3 needle bind off, I-cord edging

There are no short rows, no increases or decreases and only one seam (or you can do a 3 needle bind off). Otherwise it is just one piece of garter stitch knitting.

An I-cord edging is optional.

There are many possible ways to knit this shape and end up with the same garment. This is Version 1 knitted sideways - made and named for Lilla originally. There are 2 others in development at the moment which will appear soon.

Instructions are given for any size from newborn to XXL, using any yarn.
