Isolde socks
I wanted these socks to reflect Isolde’s role both at home in Ireland and at her new home in Cornwall when she marries King Mark. I wanted to create a pattern that was refined and reflective of her role as a Queen.
Note: these can also be knit as knee-highs.
Materials:
The March Hare Fingering Superwash Merino 75%
superwash wool, 25% nylon; 455yd/416m per 100g skein;
18 WPI, color: Isolde; 1 skein for calf length and 2 skeins
for knee length – any true fingering weight yarn can be
substituted.
