Isobar Shawl
Constructed by creating two points and then joining them together, with short rows to form a nice gentle curve. So as not to get too tedious, there’s elegant lace eyelets to draw attention to the shapes created by the short rows. They look to me like isobars, hence the name.
Graduated coloured yarns are changed by striping them in. These move the shawl from light to dark and emphasize the use of short rows to create shape.
This pattern was designed specifically for the Better Than Toast Knitsch Yarn Club.
Yarns used for this pattern (yarn club only colours at this point):
1 x Advection
1 x Beaufort
1 x Chinook
1 x Downburst
