Ismarl cushion cover
Cushion cover designed to use up small quantities of Shetland yarn.
Ordering information for both Jamieson & Smith and for Jamieson’s of Shetland is included.
Two circles are knitted then joined to make a round cushion cover which can be filled with a cushion pad, clean wool or trimmings from other Fair Isle projects.
Tension is not crucial.
Last 2 photos also show
(1) how using different colours completely changes the appearance
(2) the cushion covers being blocked over a piece of lino and clothes pegs used to hold the open edges together.
