Iskrystaller, or simply ice crystals, are beautiful crystal like formations of thin ice that in great numbers can look like fields of frozen flowers. Up close they take intricate symmetric shapes of huge variety, often as hexagonal prisms. As a child I used to love folding paper circles and cutting out my own unique snow crystals.
