Isca
A crochet cowl and matching headband pattern using beautiful luxury yarns from a small indie business.
A combination of bobbles and ribbing create a modern look cowl and head-warmer set.
Or try a lustrous colour changing yarn that is more budget friendly, King Cole Riot matches gauge closely.
Yarn Quantities
To make the cowl you need 2x 50g balls of the merino and 2x 50g balls of mohair from Along Avec Anna. There just is enough leftover to make the small headband without the bobble motif. You will need an additional ball of each to ensure you have enough yarn for the bobble motif for the headband. With the leftovers, make a headband for a friend!
If using King Cole Riot get 2 balls to guarantee you have enough for the cowl, headband and bobble motif. Again, make a second headband if it takes your fancy!
Yarn alternatives
Mohair doesn’t suit everyone, try brushed alpaca with silk as a substitute.
You Will Also Need
