This is a 4-ply cardigan with ¾ length sleeves that needs no sewing up to finish it. It is knit from the top down, with the sleeves grafted on once the main body of the cardi is complete and showcases two very pretty madeira lace stitch patterns.

It is given in a one-size pattern that will suit women in a range of different shapes and sizes. The model in the picture is a UK size 14 and is approx. 168 cm tall. The cardigan pictured is in Native Yarns Cavendish Baby Alpaca 4-ply in the Boudicea shade.

I’ve designed this cardi to be worn as a loose flowing garment; it’s easy and flattering to wear with skirts, over dresses or jeans and can be worn with or without a pin.
