Isabelita was inspired by my “idea” of Spanish flair and panache. Of course, my kid’s secret third middle name is Placido (after Domingo.) It is a crescent shaped shawl with slipped and textured stitches, similar to the ones in Quindici. They are really “sister shawls” (Isabelita is the sassy one) and you can easily knit and drink wine while working on this, although I don’t ever sanction those acts done in tandem (which does not mean that I don’t do them, of course.)

Watch out when you wear it…your kid might get a secret middle name, too.

This would be lovely with a variegated yarn for the accent as well. Someone please do this!
