This relaxed-fitting beanie can be worked in three lengths to achieve a short, medium, or longer (slouchier) fit. The ribbed understructure of the cable pattern allows for a stretchy fabric that fits a wide range of adult head sizes. The simple cables flow directly out from the ribbing and then split into a rosette pattern when crown shaping begins. This classic cabled look suits both men and women and is great for all seasons.

Construction
Hat is worked in the round from the bottom up.

One 16” circular and one set of double-pointed needles (DPNs) in size needed to obtain gauges listed above
One 16” circular needle four sizes smaller than Gauge Needle for working ribbing
Suggested sizes: US 8/5 mm & US 4/3.5 mm
